Daniel Bellido obtained his bachelor’s degree in Nanotechnology and Molecular Engineering and his Master’s degree in Nanoscience and Advanced Materials. He completed his PhD in Materials Science and Engineering working on sustainable and bio-based epoxy coatings for anti-icing and anticorrosion applications. He also spent two years as a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Coatings and Polymeric Materials in North Dakota State University studying the adhesion properties of anti-icing coatings. In his spare time, he likes to play soccer, do hiking and sing in karaoke.
Daniel joined the KORES lab to work on the development of new durable absorbents for the detection of perfluoroalkyl compounds in contaminated water resources.
