Kara graduated from the University of Arizona with a bachelors in chemical engineering, and is pursuing her masters in environmental engineering. She is currently working at the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) doing carbon capture modeling and research. In her free time, Kara enjoys playing board games, hiking and knitting.
